Drug Interaction 
  • No known interactions with topical or systemic medications.

  • All active ingredients, including those Ecocert-certified, are considered safe in topical concentrations during pregnancy and breastfeeding. 
  • Always recommend dermatologist consultation before use in sensitive cases.
  • Rare: Mild tingling, slight warmth upon application. 
  • Very rare: Redness, allergic contact dermatitis in sensitive individuals.

  • Topical overdose unlikely.
  • Overuse may cause temporary irritation or sensitivity.
  • Rinse off with cool water and discontinue if symptoms persist.
  • Store below 25°C.

Ketoconazole (2%) 
  • An imidazole antifungal that disrupts fungal cell membrane synthesis by inhibiting lanosterol 14α-demethylase, an enzyme required for the production of ergosterol, a key component of fungal cell membranes.
  • Effective against fungi including Malassezia furfur, Candida spp., and Dermatophytes.
Zinc Pyrithione (ZPTO) (1%) 
  • Possesses antifungal, antibacterial, and anti-seborrheic properties.
  • Acts by inhibiting the membrane transport systems of fungi and yeasts, especially Malassezia, the yeast implicated in dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis.
  • Also has mild keratolytic action which helps in the shedding of dead skin cells and improving scalp and skin health.

Siloap Soap is indicated for the topical treatment of: 

  • Seborrheic dermatitis (scalp and body) 
  • Dandruff 
  • Tinea versicolor (pityriasis versicolor) 
  • Tinea corporis and cruris (ringworm infections)
  • Fungal skin infections with inflammation and flaking 
  • Scalp psoriasis (as adjunct therapy) 

Frequency: Once or twice daily or as prescribed. 

Method: 

  • Wet the affected area. 
  • Apply Siloap Soap to form a rich lather. Leave the lather on the skin/scalp for 3–5 minutes to allow adequate contact time 
  • Rinse thoroughly with water. 

Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucosal surfaces.

General 

  • Meant for external use only. 
  • Avoid use on open wounds, eyes, or mucous membranes. 
  • Discontinue use if irritation or hypersensitivity occurs. 
  • Keep the soap dry between uses to avoid product degradation. 
  • Prolonged or unnecessary use may cause skin irritation or resistance.

  • Limited systemic absorption when used topically.
  • Mild burning, redness, itching, or stinging at the application site. 
  • Dryness or oiliness of hair or skin (especially with frequent use). 
  • Rare: Allergic contact dermatitis, skin discoloration. 
  • No systemic side effects expected with proper topical use.
  • Topical overdose is rare and typically not serious. 
  • Accidental ingestion may result in nausea, vomiting, and GI discomfort. 
  • Management: Supportive care. Seek immediate medical attention in case of ingestion.
  • Store at room temperature (15–25°C). 
  • Keep away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, and moisture. 
  • Do not freeze. 
  • Keep out of reach of children.

Mepyramine Maleate:  A first-generation antihistamine that blocks H1 receptors to relieve itching and allergic skin reactions.
 
Zinc Oxide: Acts as a skin protectant and mild astringent with anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. 

Calamine: A mixture of zinc oxide with a hint of iron oxide, known for its cooling, soothing, and anti-itch effects on irritated or inflamed skin. 

Purified Water: Acts as a solvent and base, ensuring smooth application and delivery of active ingredients. 
Together, these ingredients offer antipruritic, soothing, protective, and mild antiseptic effects for various skin irritations.

Itchcal Lotion is indicated for: 

  • Itching due to insect bites, allergic reactions, or rashes 
  • Chickenpox-associated itching 
  • Prickly heat and sunburn 
  • Minor burns, skin irritation, or eczema 
  • Contact dermatitis or mild allergic skin conditions
Apply a thin layer to the affected area 2 to 3 times daily or as directed by a physician. Shake well before use.

Oat COM – Colloidal oatmeal technology that soothes sensitive skin while strengthening the skin barrier and retaining moisture.   

    • Ectoin® Natural

    Ectoin® is a naturally derived extremolyte used as a skin-protective active. It has a distinctive physical mode of action: Ectoin helps form a protective hydration layer around cellular structures, supporting skin barrier stability. Ectoin® Natural – A natural extremolyte that protects, stabilises and supports the skin barrier under environmental stress.

    • AD-RESYL®: Ophiopogon japonicus Root Extract + Maltodextrin + Water

    • Calendula officinalis Flower Extract

    Calendula, commonly known as pot marigold, is a botanical traditionally used in skin care. It contains compounds including Flavonoids, Triterpenoids, Carotenoids and Phenolic compounds. Research has described anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and wound-supporting properties. Calendula Extract – A soothing botanical that helps calm and condition dry, stressed skin.

    Rice bran oil is a lipid-rich botanical oil containing fatty acids and antioxidant components such as tocopherols and other unsaponifiable constituents. Rice Bran Oil – A nourishing botanical lipid that softens, conditions and supports the skin barrier.   

    • Oryza Sativa (Rice) Germ Oil

    Rice germ oil is obtained from the germ portion of rice and provides a rich source of lipids and naturally occurring antioxidant compounds. Rice Germ Oil – A nourishing natural oil that replenishes and conditions dry skin.

    • Shea Butter

    Shea butter is a highly emollient plant-derived butter rich in fatty acids and unsaponifiable components. Shea Butter – Rich botanical nourishment that softens rough, dry skin and supports barrier comfort.

    • Cocoa Butter

    Cocoa butter is a lipid-rich botanical butter with excellent emollient properties. Cocoa Butter – A rich emollient that helps soften and protect dry, rough skin.

    • Aloe Butter

    Aloe butter is a lipid-based cosmetic ingredient incorporating aloe-derived components into a butter/emollient system. Aloe Butter – A soothing botanical emollient for soft, comfortable skin.

    • Mango Butter 

    Mango butter is obtained from the seed kernel of mango and is rich in fatty acids. Mango Butter – A nourishing plant butter that softens and conditions dry, rough skin.

    • Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride

    This is an emollient derived from fatty acids, commonly from coconut/palm sources and glycerol. Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride – A lightweight emollient that smooths, softens and improves skin feel.

    • Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil

    Jojoba oil is technically a liquid wax ester, rather than a conventional triglyceride oil. Jojoba Oil – A skin-compatible botanical emollient that smooths, softens and conditions dry skin.

    • Olive Oil PEG-7 Esters

    Olive Oil PEG-7 Esters are water-dispersible derivatives of olive oil used primarily for emollient and conditioning properties. Olive Oil PEG-7 Esters – Olive-derived conditioning emollients that improve softness and skin feel.

    • Lecithin

    Lecithin is a naturally occurring phospholipid and an important component of biological membranes. Lecithin – A natural phospholipid that supports skin conditioning and the skin's lipid barrier.

    • Paraffinum Liquidum

    Paraffinum Liquidum (Mineral Oil) is a highly purified pharmaceutical/cosmetic-grade hydrocarbon emollient. Paraffinum Liquidum – A highly purified occlusive emollient that helps lock in moisture and protect dry skin.

    A. Intensive skin-barrier restoration

    The combination of Ceracare™ MLS AC45, lecithin, rice oils, shea butter, cocoa butter, mango butter, aloe butter, jojoba oil and paraffinum liquidum provides a lipid-rich emollient system.

    C. Skin protection and soothing

    Ectoin® Natural is an extremolyte used in dermocosmetics for cellular and barrier protection. It helps stabilize biological structures and supports the skin's response to environmental stress.

     

    Oat COM provides soothing and moisturising benefits and is particularly relevant to dry, sensitive and irritation-prone skin.

    D. Support for skin barrier and inflammatory-stress control

    AD-RESYL® is positioned as a cosmetic active for supporting skin barrier function and reducing the appearance of discomfort associated with dry, reactive skin.

    Avoid direct application to the eyes and mucous membranes.


    Maintenance

    Once adequate improvement in dryness has occurred, application can be continued once or twice daily for maintenance of the skin barrier.

    • Patch testing may be considered in individuals with highly sensitive skin.

    • Allow the cream to absorb before covering the area with clothing.

     

    Because the formulation contains several botanical and natural-derived materials, individual sensitivity is possible despite their generally favourable cosmetic safety profiles.

     

    Warnings

    • Discontinue use if significant redness, burning, itching, swelling or rash develops.
    • Avoid application over actively infected skin unless specifically advised by a physician.
    • Avoid contact with eyes.
    • Do not use on severely damaged/open skin without medical advice.
    • If severe or persistent skin inflammation, oozing, pain or infection is present, medical evaluation is recommended.

     

    Psoriasis-specific warning

    Endew Max can help manage dryness, scaling and barrier impairment, but it should not be represented as a replacement for prescribed psoriasis therapy such as topical corticosteroids, vitamin-D analogues, retinoids, phototherapy or systemic/biologic therapy where indicated.

     

    Contraindications

    Absolute/primary contraindication

    Known hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation.

     

    Particular caution should be exercised in individuals with known sensitivity to:

    • Oat-derived ingredients
    • Calendula/Asteraceae-family botanicals
    • Aloe-derived ingredients
    • Fragrance components, if any are present in the final formulation

    Do not apply directly into the eyes.

     

    Drug Interaction

    Because Endew Max is a topical emollient/dermocosmetic preparation, clinically significant systemic drug interactions are not expected.

     

    However:

    • It can generally be used alongside prescribed topical dermatological medicines.
    • If a topical medication is being used on the same area, the dermatologist's instructions regarding sequence and timing of application should be followed.
    • Applying multiple topical preparations simultaneously may sometimes alter absorption or increase irritation.

     

    For psoriasis, eczema or atopic dermatitis patients using prescription medicines, Endew Max can be considered a supportive moisturising therapy, subject to the treating physician's instructions.

    The formulation contains moisturising, emollient, botanical and barrier-support ingredients and does not contain a conventional retinoid or corticosteroid active.


    However, there are limited clinical pregnancy data for the complete finished Endew Max formulation.


    During pregnancy and lactation, use as directed and consult a healthcare professional if prolonged or extensive application is required.

    Endew Max should generally be well tolerated.

    Possible local effects

    • Mild transient stinging

    • Follicular occlusion in very oily/acne-prone areas
    • Contact dermatitis, rarely

    Hypersensitivity

    • Rarely, an individual may develop:
    • Rash
    • Swelling
    • Significant itching
    • Allergic contact dermatitis 

    A significant systemic overdose is not expected from normal topical use. Excessive application may result in:

    • Greasiness
    • Occlusion
    • Local irritation
    • Follicular plugging in susceptible individuals

    Management
    Reduce or discontinue application. If significant irritation occurs, wash the area gently with water. If accidentally swallowed in a significant quantity, seek medical advice; treatment would generally be supportive.
    • Protect from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
    • Keep the container tightly closed.
    • Avoid freezing.
    • Store in a cool, dry place, preferably below 25°C, unless the validated stability data specify otherwise.

    Endew Gentle Cleanser is a mild, barrier-supportive cleansing system formulated for skin that is dry, sensitive or prone to barrier disruption.

     

    COMPOSITION:

    Aquaxyl™ + Pentavitin® + Ceracare™ MLS AC45 + Oat COM + AD-RESYL® + Calendula officinalis Flower Extract + Genecare OSMS BA + Matcha Extract + Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate + Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate + Panthenol + Niacinamide + Cetearyl Alcohol + Glycerin.

    Its mechanism can be explained in four stages:

    GENTLE CLEANSE → HYDRATE → SUPPORT BARRIER → SOOTHE

     

    A.   Gentle cleansing


    Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (SCI) and Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate are mild surfactants that help remove dirt, sweat, excess sebum, environmental impurities and cosmetic residues without relying on traditional soap-based cleansing.


    B.    Hydration preservation


    Aquaxyl™, Pentavitin® and Glycerin help attract and retain water within the stratum corneum. This is particularly important because excessive cleansing can contribute to dryness and compromise the skin barrier.


    C.Barrier support


    Ceracare™ MLS AC45, Oat COM, Panthenol and Niacinamide support the skin's protective barrier.

    Endew Gentle Cleanser is intended for gentle cleansing of:

    A gentle, barrier-supportive cleanser for dry, sensitive and compromised skin.

    Face: 

    • Wet the face with lukewarm water.
    • Apply an adequate quantity of Endew Gentle Cleanser and massage gently for 20–30 seconds. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry.

     

    Body: 

    • Apply to wet skin during bathing, gently massage and rinse.
    • Once or twice daily, or as recommended by the dermatologist.
    • For very dry skin, avoid prolonged bathing and very hot water.

    General

    • For external use only.
    • Avoid contact with eyes.

    Mechanism of Action:

    1.Dihydroquercetin-Glucoside (DHQG): A stabilized polyphenol which activates the division of hair follicle stem cells, while maintaining their differentiation properties.

    It protects stem cells from apoptosis (BCL2 activation), and drives them towards the anagen cycle (beta-catenin activation), while boosting the metabolism of dermal papilla fibroblasts.

     

    2.EGCG-Glucoside (EGCG-G): A stabilised EGCG derivative used to reduce the typical inflammatory state of alopecic scalp (reduction of IL-8), and capture free radicals.

     

    3.Glycine: A major constituent of hair proteins, mainly keratin associated proteins (KAP), which favours hair growth.

     

    4.Zinc: A very important co-factor for numerous enzymes, favouring the incorporation of cystin in keratin for a stronger hair shaft.

    Procapil™ - 3%: Procapil™ is a unique blend of cell-signalling peptide (biotinoyl tripeptide-1), flavonoid (apigenin) and a natural 5-alpha reductase inhibitor (oleanolic acid) that works synergistically to promote hair anchoring by strengthening the hair follicle both metabolically and structurally, while helping maintain the anagen phase.

     

    Mechanism of Action:

    1.Biotinyl-GHK: A unique vitaminated (combined with Vitamin B7, Biotin) matrikine peptide that stimulates hair growth by improving the rate of cell division and gene expression in the hair follicle cells. It promotes cell metabolism to make the hair stronger by improving hair anchoring and less prone to falling.

    Clinically Proven at 3%

    Procapil™ has been clinically tested on both male and female subjects to provide a prominent anti-aging action on the hir follicle while increasing the number of hairs in anagen and reducing the number of hairs in telogen.

    AnaGain™ – 3%: A pea-sprout-derived cosmetic active intended to act on dermal papilla signalling and support the transition toward the active growth phase.     Caffeine: Caffeine has emerged as a promising agent for preventing hair loss and promoting hair growth.     Mechanism of Action:

    The mechanism of action of caffeine in preventing hair loss primarily involves inhibition of phosphodiesterase enzyme, leading to increased levels of cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) within cells. Elevated cAMP levels promote cellular metabolism and proliferation, thereby stimulating hair follicle growth and counteracting the effects of DHT on hair follicles.

    Studies have shown that caffeine-based topical solutions can effectively counteract the suppressive effects of dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a hormone implicated in hair loss, and promote hair growth.     Comparative studies have demonstrated the non-inferiority of caffeine-based topical solutions compared to conventional treatments like minoxidil in terms of increasing anagen hair rate and improving scalp conditions.

     

    Additionally, studies utilising hair organ culture models and trichograms have shown that caffeine stimulates hair follicle growth, reverses the suppressive effects of testosterone, and enhances follicular penetration for optimal delivery of actives.

     

    Korean Ginseng Root: Korean Ginseng root extract is rich in Ginsenosides, a group of compounds which have been shown to have positive outcomes in improving hair density and hair thickness. Korean Ginseng root extract also prevents the hair follicle from entering the catagen phase prematurely, elongating the hair growth phase, anagen.

     

    Mechanism of Action:

    There has been mounting evidence suggesting that ginseng and its major bioactive constituents, ginsenosides, promote hair growth by enhancing proliferation of dermal papilla and preventing hair loss via modulation of various cell-signalling pathways.

     

    Ginseng exhibits therapeutic potential for hair growth and preventing hair loss by preventing the apoptosis of dermal follicle papilla cells.

     

    Cressatine®: Cressatine® is obtained by an aqueous extract of Watercress (Nasturtium Officinale) and Indian Cress (Tropaeolum majus), leaves and shoots. Enriched with Sulphur and minerals, Cressatine® enhances hair strength by promoting the production of high-quality keratin peptide chains.

     

    Mechanism of Action:

    Cressatine® provides the elements needed to produce keratin for resistant, well-structured hair and helps initiate regeneration via the Wnt (beta-catenin) pathway.

     

    Keratinocyte differentiation is stimulated with the release of KGF (Keratinocyte Growth Factor), owing to the Wnt activation.

     

    KGFs influence hair shape and also its strength. The length of the growth phase is increased by the activation of this pathway and through KGF production.
